MACNY The Manufacturers Association and its partners play a key role in advancing registered apprenticeships in New York’s manufacturing sector by collaborating with industry, academia and nonprofit organizations to attract and develop skilled talent. This includes increasing women’s participation in manufacturing by launching a grant-funded 12-week training program connecting participants with top manufacturers and career opportunities. Through registered apprenticeships and workforce programs, MACNY helps employers address labor shortages by upskilling entry-level employees with on-the-job training and college courses, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled workers.
