Adam Campbell is the Dean of the Career and Technical Education Division at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois, where he oversees a wide range of certificate and degree programs including Business Technology, Computer Networking, Digital Media, Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, Renewable Energy, Advanced Manufacturing and one of the nation’s first programs in Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Technology. He has 18 years of experience in higher education, beginning as an instructor in the Illinois Department of Corrections where he developed programs to help offenders gain essential skills for successful reentry. Adam later served as Senior Assistant Director of the Illinois Board of Higher Education’s Private Business and Vocational Schools Division, contributing to policy-making and quality assurance in vocational education.
