Christine McLear is the Workforce Development Lead at GlobalFoundries where she oversees initiatives to expand the semiconductor talent pipeline. Previously she worked with the Center for Economic Growth to help companies start and manage registered apprenticeship programs including launching the first registered apprenticeship program in the U.S. semiconductor industry in partnership with GlobalFoundries. She has extensive experience developing workforce programs and grants focused on retraining un- and underemployed New Yorkers for quality jobs. Christine also has a background in nonprofit program management and fundraising and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ithaca College.
