Susan Ipri-Brown is the strategic initiatives manager at the National Institute of Standards and Technology Office of Advanced Manufacturing, where she leads collaborations in advanced manufacturing technology and workforce development. Before joining NIST, she was associate dean for educational outreach, founding director of the ExploreHope Academic Outreach Office and associate professor of engineering instruction at Hope College. Susan is the 2024-2025 President of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and holds degrees from MIT and Princeton University in mechanical and aerospace engineering.
